Here are the questions we hear most often about Mailnesty, with answers. If you cannot find what you need, feel free to get in touch.
Yes. Every core feature, including creating temporary addresses and receiving mail, is free. No payment or credit card details are required.
No. A temporary address is issued the moment you open the page, so you can start immediately without an account. Google sign-in is optional and only used when you want a custom-named address.
Temporary addresses and their messages are stored on the server only for a set lifetime, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted. Deleted mail cannot be recovered, so read anything important in time.
No. Mailnesty is a receive-only service. Sending is not offered, to prevent spam abuse.
Many services email a 6-digit verification code (OTP) when you log in or sign up. Mailnesty automatically finds that code in the message body, highlights it, and lets you copy it with one click — so you never have to hunt through a long email for it.
Save addresses you use often to Favorites to bring them back. Note, however, that once an address expires and is deleted, the same address may be reissued to another user, so it is not suited to long-term use.
We do not recommend it. Avoid using temporary addresses for services you need long-term access to, such as banking, payments or work accounts. If the mail expires, recovering the account may become impossible.
We handle only the minimum information required to run the service and do not track your real identity. Temporary data is deleted automatically once its lifetime expires. See our Privacy Policy for details.
